The easy way to transfer photos from your Canon-DigiCam to your computer

Ixus Pic

IxPictures Screen Shot

Instruction:
  • Plug in your camera to USB
  • Start the IxPictures application
  • Choose the destination directory (only once)
  • Connect to camera (press 2 )
  • Rotate pictures, if necessary (press 5)
  • Start the transfer-process (press 7)
That's all. Easy, isn't it?

Features:
  • Supported camera models.
  • AVI-movie loadable.
  • Automatic lossless rotation.
  • RAW-image support. (Will be saved in the native Canon-raw-format "*.CRW").
  • The application will save your pictures and filmclips under the name "YYMMDD_####". This pattern ensures the date and hour will be an integrative part of the filename, and sorting the pictures in alphabetical order will maintain the correct (time-)order.
  • A renaming function makes it easy to convert filenames of existing pictures according to the pattern above.

Download and installation of IxPictures:
  • IxPictures works on all Windows-systems with USB support.
  • To use the IxPictures-application on non XP systems, it's necessary to have installed the Canon PowerShot USB TWAIN Drivers. If the drivers are not already installed in yours system, refer to the Software Starter Guide of your Canon camera for the method of installing the PowerShot USB TWAIN Drivers or download the drivers from the Canon webside.
  • IxPictures is freeware. You can use it as you like. Please let me know about your experiences with my tool.
